Billion-dollar company Telkom conducted a research paper on the need for education reforms in South Africa and the importance of integration of technology in schools.
The paper, published in June 2014, put forward that traditional classrooms methods in all types of educational institutions need to be updated through the use of technology to offer immensely practical, relevant and immediately applicable learning solutions to keep up with a world that has been fundamentally changed through technology. In the twenty-first century we are seeing huge advancements in education technology and at Doga Schools we are well and truly at the forefront of the competition to meet high educational standards via technology integration.
Doga Schools was only founded in 2004 and with the help and vision of an increasing digital world, we have been able to not only lead the integration of technology in schools, but also innovated our very own online education systems; one example being t-MBA Digital. In the next 5 years Doga Schools will be a world-leading K12 brand thanks to paying close attention to new opportunities in delivering high quality education.
Telkom’s study goes on to say, The Doğa School in Turkey has reported significant enhancements to their learning processes through the adoption of modern technology. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards, computers and projectors. The school is also an authorised Apple Training Centre offering a digital and space library, a planetarium and a simulation room. iPads and ActiveBoards are integrated providing a fully digital learning experience.
Our students have access to the above mentioned and much more; they have access to all of the best and latest technologies and we are proud to say that our teachers are also keen supporters of the new tech-wave.
